A Rapid Response By A London-Based Consultant, Dr Katya Polyakova,Gets Removed By BMJ
Dr Katya Polyakova, a London-based consultant, chose to speak out in response to an article in The BMJ - “Do doctors have to have the covid-19 vaccine?” (Published 29 March 2021). Her Rapid Response has been removed by The BMJ for “… being used to spread misinformation and was attributed in a misleading way on certain websites and social media”.
This response was done by someone who was informed by actual frontline, experience from the job and it reflects a reality that clearly authorities don’t want out there.

Doctor Polyakova was very concerned about the adverse reactions of Covid-19 vaccines :
"The levels of sickness after vaccination is unprecedented and staff are getting very sick and some with neurological symptoms which is having a huge impact on the health service function. Even the young and healthy are off for days, some for weeks, and some requiring medical treatment. Ivana Novotny, Author at The Conservative Woman,wrote a letter dated April 25 to the editor-in-chief of the British Medical Journal, Dr Fiona Godlee, about the removal of a ‘rapid response’ comment by Dr Katya Polyakova on Covid-19 vaccine posted on April 2 :
Dear Madam,
I am writing re the removal of the rapid response by Dr K Polyakova – BMJ 2021;372:n810.
By arbitrary removal of that response you suppress and censor the truth under some flimsy pretexts. Censorship according to the Encyclopaedia Britannica means ‘the changing or the suppression or prohibition of speech or writing that is deemed subversive of the common good’.
Censorship is accompanied by arbitrariness, which is typical of various forms of despotism, absolutism, authoritarianism and totalitarianism, as we can find in plenty of Google resources.
Totalitarian despots are always absolutely right. They will not tolerate any criticism, especially legitimate, constructive criticism. And that is exactly what Dr Polyakova has done – a constructive, needed criticism of the vaccine programme that needs to be taken on board for the common good.
Dr Polyakova writes about the experience she has had in recent months while managing a health service during Covid times. She has seen ‘the reality of the morbidity caused by our current vaccination programme’; ‘The levels of sickness after vaccination is [sic] unprecedented and staff are getting very sick and some with neurological symptoms which is having a huge impact on the health service function. Even the young and healthy are off for days, some for weeks, and some requiring medical treatment. Whole teams are being taken out as they went to get vaccinated together.’
As a true physician directed by the principle primun non nocere [first, do no harm]and a guardian of health, she shows real care for the good of individuals and the common good, which benefits society as a whole, in contrast to the private good.
Dr Polyakova resolutely defends ordinary members of the public such as myself who do not want Covid-19 vaccines. She stands up for medical ethical values and once again for the common good when she clearly spells out: ‘Mandatory vaccination in this instance is stupid, unethical and irresponsible when it comes to protecting our staff and public health.’
Which of these truths, based on true facts that Dr Polyakova mentions, explicitly and implicitly have frightened you to the extent of removing the text from the BMJ?
1. Covid vaccines are experimental and only under rapid temporary regulatory approval.
2. There is lack of data about them.
3. There is insufficient reporting of vaccine adverse events. Dr Polyakova writes that she was ‘struggling’ to understand ‘the failure to report the reality of the morbidity caused by our current vaccination programme . . .’
4. Vaccines harm even young and healthy people to the extent that hospitalisation is needed in some cases.
5. In some cases vaccines induce neurological symptoms.
6. Vaccines do not protect from contracting the virus: ‘I have direct experience of staff contracting Covid after vaccination and probably transmitting it.’
7. [Covid] vaccines are pointless and dangerous, do more harm than good – ‘it is clearly stated that these vaccine products do not offer immunity or stop transmission. In which case [,] why are we doing it?’
8. In some cases vaccines impact adversely on the immediate health of recipients.
9. The long-term adverse effects are still unknown and nobody knows how they will affect the health service: ‘There is no longitudinal safety data (a couple of months of trial data at best) available and these products are only under emergency licensing. What is to say that there are no longitudinal adverse effects that we may face that may put the entire health sector at risk?’
10. Mandating of unlicensed, experimental vaccines on the health care workers or members of the public is in the realms of Adolf Hitler’s dystopia – ‘Coercion and mandating medical treatments on our staff, of members of the public especially when treatments are still in the experimental phase, are firmly in the realms of a totalitarian Nazi dystopia and fall far outside of our ethical values as the guardians of health.’
Dear Madam, experts in in totalitarianism say that at the moment when the editorial office fights against the truth we begin to enter the sphere of certain actions, which bear the hallmark of a totalitarian system.
Sadly, by attacking the truth, it is human beings that are being attacked. Today the editorial office removes the Doctor’s response, tomorrow there will be attempts to remove the Doctor or people like her who speak the voice of reason – those who do not consent to Covid-19 vaccines, and especially those who ‘spread misinformation’ and ‘mislead others’. I cannot agree to that. As you can see from so many quotes, Dr Polyakova’s text is alive.
