FDA Withholding Autopsy Results On People Who Died After Getting COVID-19 Jab

The FDA turned down The Epoch Times' request for access to all autopsy reports regarding any deaths that had been reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System after receiving the COVID-19 jab under the Freedom of Information Act.

FDA cited federal law, which permits organizations to withhold data if they “reasonably foresees that disclosure would harm an interest protected by an exemption,” with the exemption being “personnel and medical files and similar files the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”

The Epoch Times has challenged both the recent denial of data analysis of VAERS reports and the denial of the outcomes of the refusal.
The Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee member and advocate for medication safety Kim Witczak suggested that the reports might be made public with all personal information blacked out.
“Autopsies can be an important part of post-mortem analysis and should be done especially with increased deaths following COVID-19 vaccination,” Witczak said.
A COVID-19 jab-related fatality is an uncommon occurrence, according to an FDA official who cited the number of VAERS complaints.
The FDA spokesperson would not confirm when the autopsy results would be made public, but she did refer to a study written by researchers at the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The paper, which has not undergone peer review, examined the roughly 9,800 instances of deaths reported to VAERS after receiving the COVID-19 jab between December 14, 2020, and November 17, 2021. The reporting rates were discovered to be lower than the anticipated all-cause mortality rates.

“Trends in reporting rates reflected known trends in background mortality rates. These findings do not suggest an association between vaccination and overall increased mortality,” the researchers wrote.
The researchers pointed out that earlier study has shown that the number of adverse events reported to VAERS is underestimated compared to the actual number of incidents.
