Dr Matteo Martini joins the chorus of medical voices stating that there is no science showing that masks help to reduce contagion.
Dr Martini does not mince his words when he states in his article entitled “Universal masking, a scientific myth without evidence?” :
“Al presente, non ci sono prove dirette (da studi su COVID19 e su persone sane nella comunità) sull’efficacia dell’uso universale delle mascherine da parte di persone sane in comunità per prevenire l’infezione da virus respiratori, compreso COVID-19”
